Howdy from North Idaho. How have you been doing? Ifve been busy clearing trails for
snowmobiling... me and my chainsaw,
getting things ready to welcome you here and into the winter program. As I write this note
and look out the upstairs windows I am treated to the
first days of winter with a landscape of sparkling snow.

The mountains all around
here are already covered with snow and soon the ranch will be covered in a deep
mantle of snow as well.I do hope that youfve

~ A Traditional American Holiday In North Idaho ~This
is a new and annual program wefll be starting in
late November. It will
include holiday decorations inside and outside the main house and the cabins.
There will also be the holiday activities in Sandpoint, as well as gift exchanges (this involves more
than meets the eye). Ifve already
started my Christmas shopping.

| Will we have star gazing? Are you kidding? Of course we will. And
donft worry about being
cold. Wefll have lots of warm
blankets and hot drinks. Oh yes, and there will be a Celestron telescope to view the
moon, tons of stars and the Milky Way that always seems so close as to be able to touch it. |

This year, wefll also have sledding on our property luge and for serious
fun we will have snowmobiling for
the first time. It is a kick! Donft forget this is North Idaho, U.S.A. with an astounding abundance of wildlife
i.e. moose, deer, coyotes, eagles... so photo opportunities are unlimited. In fact, you can view this winter wonderland and itfs wildlife from the
windows of your comfortable and cozy cabins warmed with high tech ceramic wood stoves.
