DOPOLAVORO 7X7 LEAGUE - SEASON 2009/2010
Dear Managers and Players
Dear Vladimir
(Text displayed in the web site)

I would like to recall to all of you about what "
DOPOLAVORO" means, especially to those who may not understand the spirit when I established 7 years ago this event.
DOPOLAVORO ("AFTER THE WORK") is an Italian concept of volunteering and factory/corporate organization for distraction, socializing, health-protection, and mental enrichment/stabilization of individuals. Italy, where I came from, is a very nice country where you can enjoy life, sun and relaxation!

I found out that recently some individuals (and newcomers) still ignore this meaning.
I would like to repeat it:
You all join this organization that allows you to enjoy and relax playing in sports (that can be tennis, basketball, jogging, squash, etc. and in our case "soccer").
I have NOT built this event for people to go on disputing and challenging harshly in tough rivalry among "groups". In fact, any persons (students as well as "shakaijin" - or company employees) has the right to train and play in any teams engaged in my activities (rule of "helpers"), provided that they contribute financially (1500 yen for workers/employees...1000 yen for students).
The most important thing is to play without hurting ourselves or others, because "dopo il lavoro" (after the work) there will be always the "lavoro" of next day, that helps you, your company/factory, and your family to have a place under the sun. Therefore, do not injure yourselves and do not hurt others!
In conclusion:
Enjoy the game in a "special league" that gives you the joy to socialize, to make friends, to practice sports in a polite manner, while respecting the physical integrity and hard job of our volunteers, including Vladimir and myself, as well as any other
CHUSEN volunteers, players, and officials of "groups".
Please convey these words to all our participants, and tell them that those who do not fit in this "spirit" should find another environment (there are plenty in Tokyo) to practice  sports.
Thanks for cooperating.

Organized by IFFL WEEKDAY SOCCER (sponsored by ITA Co., Ltd. and Duong Van Co., Ltd.)

The IFFL Weekday Soccer will celebrate its 8th Anniversary in 2009. We accumulated seven years of rich and genuine experience in 7x7 soccer and we will celebrate the new Season 2009 by implementing a sporting concept that we always cherish since 1977, namely nurturing the healthy and socializing activities of the Japanese and foreign soccer community in Tokyo and surrounding areas, while giving to them an interesting calendar of 7x7 soccer activities. From April 2009, every Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, the IFFL Weekday Soccer will organize the DOPOLAVORO LEAGUE official games in the new astro turf stadium of Oi Daini, located in Shinagawa, starting League from 7 pm till 9 pm.

The SUMMER/WINTER LEAGUES started in April 2006 and included 9 teams. Each team played once vs the other teams and each half will last 30 minutes. Registration fee: 30,000 yen/team for all season. Each registered player will pay 1,500 yen at each match before entering the field (as players used to do in Weekday Soccer). This contribution is valid for individual as well as collective participation. Each team will have its own web page and match sheet prepared by IFFL Administration. Lady Players are also allowed to participate.

Teams can prepare their own calendar according to their office requirements. Cups, trophies, awards for Top Scoring Teams from IFFL and Sponsors, etc. will be offered.

"DOPOLAVORO" is an Italian concept for working people recreational activities. It means "After the Work".

RULES FOR THE USE OF DAINI BY INDIVIDUALS OR BY GROUPS OF PLAYERS OR TEAMS

By signing the OATH IFFL Season 2008, teams using the DAINI for DOPOLAVORO League 7x7 are compelled to the following rules:

1.  Any individuals or players of groups or teams who enter the premises of DAINI at any game/training session or personal use of the ground on WED, THU, or FRI are compelled to settle their fee of 1,500 yen/participant before entering the premises. Teams participating in official games are allowed to settle their collective fee honestly and correctly after their game.

The Organizer or IFFL Administration or Volunteer is not responsible for any arrangement made by individuals or groups or team managers, or for any dispute arisen and the mere fact that such individuals, groups or teams enter the premises and use their installations compels them to the settlement of the fee of 1500 yen/participant.

2.  There is no discount for the said fee in case of late arrival, DAINI being opened from 6 pm till 9 pm and the DAINI users are requested to use it fully at a rate of 500 yen/hour/participant.

3. Any individuals, groups or teams that fail to settle their fee will be suspended to frequent the DAINI on sessions reserved by the IFFL Chusen Pool until the satisfactory settlement of their fee owed. In any cases, teams are responsible collectively for the fair settlement of fee of their members.

4.  Teams that participate in the DOPOLAVORO 7x7 League must keep an OI Chusen Card (free-of-charge, validity 3 years according to the Schedule of OI Sports Center, cards belong to the IFFL Chusen Pool and are not the property of those teams). All IFFL Chusen Pool cards are kept by the IFFL Administration who organizes chusen sessions every 15 of each month from 10 am at OI Sports Center.

5.  Teams or groups of players that cause a problem (at the discretionary judgment by the Organizer, Referee, Volunteer)  in the use of DAINI may be, at the final judgment of the IFFL Administration, requested to reserve by themselves the DAINI for their own use of official games in the DOPOLAVORO 7x7 League.

6 Smoking is absolutely prohibited within the premises of the pitch. Players who do not respect this rule will be penalized. They can smoke at the toilets, right behind the ground premises, next to the drink vending machines. Please put your cigarette butts in the can containers.

7.  Teams (collectively and individually) are compelled to put the DAINI in good order from 9 pm, before going to showers.

8.  The Organizer, Referee, Volunteer, and IFFL Administration are not responsible for any injury (even fatal) or loss or damage of property.

9.  All cars must leave the parking area before 9.30 pm.

10.  Teams participating in official matches will have their Match Sheet (MS), and they must update them in case newcomers are to be registered.

11.  Team's managers must print out their MS - with the recent date on the lower right corner of the MS. Any omission of the MS will cause a penalty of 1,000 yen. The MS must be delivered to the Referee before the game at 7.45 pm.

12.  Please do not use the stands. The OI SC compels us to pay a rental fee, and we do not have fund for that rental service.

13.  As mentioned many times, if two teams ONLY decide to play an official game, the minimum amount ensured per team MUST BE 15,000 yen. Therefore, you must bring 10 players in order to settle the fee for the game. If they are (for instance) 12, then 12 x 1500 yen. If they are 8 (for instance), they have to settle 15,000 yen among them.

14.  Each game must have at least 3 balls to be put next to the goals for use, in case a ball is sent off the pitch.
Therefore, each team must bring at least 2 balls. Teams must bring their own numbered uniforms and jackets (bibs).

The IFFL Weekday Soccer has the purpose to fulfill the needs of Japanese/foreign amateur soccer players for good health, training, socializing, and improving their capacity to learn the local language as well as the foreign ones, while exchanging personal viewpoints about sports, culture, and recreational activities. Each session lasts 3 hours from 6 pm till 9 pm, and is held in the Daini Stadium of  the OI SPORTS CENTER (DAIICHI [dirt] & DAINI (astro turf), located at a short distance from the Oikebajomae Station (Monorail to Haneda Airport, 2nd Stop from Hamamatsucho Station, Yamanote Line). We are now making an additional effort to rationalize the preparation for each training without taking much time from the volunteers' office workload. The IFFL Weekday Soccer is now in its 6th year, and we believe it has a positive effect on all members of teams in IFFL. Our participants are mainly office workers, and they need to relax once a week with friends, practicing their favorite sport without the stress of competition, in an environment provided with excellent installations. Students and non-IFFL members are also allowed to participate.
