Western Historic Trails Center
Although I happened to visit this center because it was included in Iowa welcome center, it helpedWestern Historic Trails Center, Iowa me a lot to understand the history of the west expansion. For example, it was the first time for me to know about California Trail and Mormon Trail. In addition, Lewis & Clark Expedition seemed very interesting to study more although I might have already studied it in junior high or high school. At any rate, road trip is good because I can sometimes find something interesting to see and can get wherever I want to go.

Winterset & Hey Fever
I had a sudden attack of severe hey fever. It began to attack me while seeing Northside Cafe and John Wayne House downtown of Winterset. It became worse and worse while going to the Roseman Covered Bridge, which is famous for "The Bridges of Madison County." Suffering hey fever has been the first time to me since when I came to the U.S. Although I wanted to enjoy the rural scenery near the covered bridge, I had to leave there soon. I come to scare about the second time to come to Iowa in about two weeks. As to the covered bridge, I didn't think I had to drive unpaved roadRoseman Covered Bridge in Winterset, Iowa so long. Although I read the novel before, I almost forget the story because it was about ten years ago. Moreover, I haven't watched the movie. If I had watched it would have been more impressing. So, when I go back to L.A. the first thing I have to do is to watch it.
