Beartooth Highway - One of the Most Scenic Highways Although there are some alternatives of how to get to Yellowstone NP, I
chose "Beartooth Highway" because it took me to as the high place
as Rocky Mountain NP. According to an official travel guide of Wyoming,
"You will feel you are on top of the world as you travel the Beartooth
Scenic Byway north Cody on US 212." Such words still inspired me to
go there in spite that I had  seen many similar words so far.As I had expected, it took long time to drive through Beartooth Highway and get to Yellowstone NP. However, as I had expected, it brought me great views. I am sure there are no paved roads in such high place in Japan. If I had got to Yellowstone NP earlier and it had better weather, I would have visited more places in the park today. However, it took much more time to drive through the east  entrance of Yellowstone NP to Roosevelt Country. So, I decided to take
a rest for the three days from today. In addition, I decided to leave the
Motel about 5 AM tomorrow to see some places. Otherwise I could not see
enough places because I really understood Yellowstone NP was too big to
see every place in a few days. |
