A Place Where Dreams Come True
I could see some baseball fields where many people played baseball yesterday's
night. So, my question is why Iowa doesn't have MLB team in spite of that
baseball seems the most popular sport here. Anyway, these baseball fields made me feel
some nostalgia because I also liked to play baseball in my childhood. And
I really thought it was no wonder Iowa was mistaken "Heaven"
in the movie "Field of Dreams" because its scenery was really
beautiful and peaceful.
"Field of Dreams Movie Site" has been one of the most expected
destinations in this journey because it is my favorite movie. "People
will come" was really true. When I got there just over 9 o'clock in
the morning, some people have already come. What a strong power a movie
has!!

This movie is not about just baseball but about family and dream. Above all, dream is the most impressive theme to me. That is, the voices, "If you build it, he will come.", "Ease his pain.", and "Go the distance." says to me, "If you have a dream, it will come true.", "Are there something unfinished?",
and "Go the distance." In addition to them my favorite quote
is as follows; "If you really think you should do this, you should
do it." So, I am doing just what I want to do and the ultimate goal
of this journey is to "Go the distance." |
What I Learned Today - Dyersville is famous for Farm Toys
"Established in 1986, the National Farm Toy Museum in Dyersville,
Iowa has become a major attraction. It features two floors which are handicapped
accessible and showcases over 30,000 toys and exhibits; including tractors, implements, trucks,
dioramas, toy manufacturing information and a large pedal tractor display."
