This library was opened in February of 1993. It is located in the residential area near Nichidai Street and Old Nakasugi Street. It takes about 12 minutes on foot from the north exit of Asagaya Station. It is one of 11 city libraries in Suginami Ward. You can borrow up to 5 books after registering at the reception desk. As Asagaya is famous for Asagaya Writers' Village (Asagaya Bunshi Mura). Once a year they hold a lecture about writers who lived in Asagaya. In July of 1998 they held a lecture about "Dazai Osamu". There is also a recycle corner of books and magazines. You can get five of them at most after getting admission. |
